Work Audit
Find out exactly which workflows agents should handle — and which ones aren't ready yet.
Book a Discovery CallThe Problem
Every business considering AI agents faces the same question: where do we start?
Build the wrong agent first and you waste weeks on a workflow that wasn’t ready. Automate the wrong process and you create more problems than you solve. Skip the diagnostic and you’re guessing — and guessing with AI deployment costs real money and real time.
The Work Audit answers the question with data, not intuition.
What a Work Audit Delivers
A complete operational map with automation scoring. Over 2–3 weeks, we map your recurring workflows through structured interviews with you and your team. Every workflow gets scored across multiple dimensions:
Hours per week
How much time this workflow consumes
Automation potential
How much of the workflow agents can handle (scored 1–100)
Data readiness
Whether the inputs and outputs are structured enough for agents
Error tolerance
What happens when the agent gets it wrong (low-stakes vs. high-stakes)
Human judgment points
Where in the workflow a human must remain in the loop
Dependencies
What other systems and people the workflow touches
What you receive
- 1. Task inventory — every recurring workflow in your operation, documented
- 2. Priority matrix — workflows ranked by automation ROI (hours saved × automation potential ÷ implementation complexity)
- 3. Architecture recommendations — which agent pattern fits each workflow (Router, Pipeline, Supervisor, etc.)
- 4. Deployment roadmap — a phased plan: which agent to build first, second, third, with dependencies mapped
- 5. ROI projection — conservative, moderate, and optimistic savings estimates with payback timelines
- 6. Production readiness assessment — what your team and systems need before deployment can begin
The Guarantee
If we don’t identify at least 3 workflows that can save 20+ hours per month through agent automation, you pay nothing and keep the full report.
We’ve never had to honor this guarantee. Not because we’re selective about clients (we are), but because any business with 10+ employees running established operations has automatable workflows. The question isn’t whether they exist — it’s which ones to tackle first and in what order.
How It Works
Week 1: Discovery
We conduct structured interviews with the people who run your operations. Not just the owner — the team members who actually do the work. We map every recurring workflow: what triggers it, what steps it involves, who touches it, what data flows through it, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Week 2: Analysis
We score every workflow across the six dimensions. We run the ROI calculations. We select architecture patterns for the top candidates. We identify dependencies and prerequisites — which workflows need process documentation before they can be automated, which systems need API access, which team members need to be involved in deployment.
Week 3: Delivery
You receive the complete Work Audit report: task inventory, priority matrix, architecture recommendations, deployment roadmap, and ROI projections. We walk through it together in a 60-minute delivery session. You leave with a clear, actionable plan.
What Happens After the Audit
Three paths forward. Your choice.
Path 1: Build it yourself
The roadmap includes architecture recommendations for every workflow. Use our products (the Agent Architecture Playbook, the Production Checklist) and our community (The Workshop) to implement. Many clients choose this path and execute successfully.
Path 2: We build it together
Continue to a Quick Strike — we deploy the highest-priority agent from the roadmap to production. You see exactly what a properly engineered deployment looks like. If it delivers, we continue with the MVP Build.
Path 3: Hold and plan
Take the roadmap to your team. Socialize it internally. Address the prerequisites the audit identified (process documentation, system access, team readiness). Come back when you’re ready. The roadmap doesn’t expire.
Already Used Our Products?
If you’ve completed the AI Readiness Assessment or the Workflow Audit Template, you’ve already done 30% of the diagnostic work using the same methodology.
Share your Alchemy Inside access code on the discovery call. We’ll pull your product data — your readiness scores, your self-service audit results, your architecture selections — and build on what you’ve already done. No redundant questions. Near-instant onboarding.
This is by design. Every product in the Alchemy Inside catalog generates data that accelerates the consulting engagement. The products aren’t just revenue — they’re the first 30% of the Work Audit, done before we ever meet.
Investment
$2,500–$5,000
Depending on operation size and complexity:
- Under 20 employees, focused operation: $2,500
- 20–50 employees or multiple departments: $3,500–$5,000
- Complex operations with regulatory requirements: $5,000
Payment: 50% at engagement start, 50% at delivery. If the guarantee is triggered (fewer than 3 workflows saving 20+ hours/month identified), the initial payment is refunded in full.
Who this is for
- Managing brokers with 10+ agents running repeatable operations (lead follow-up, transaction coordination, compliance, marketing)
- Operations leaders at service businesses with teams spending 20+ hours/week on pattern-based work
- Business owners who know AI agents are coming and want to move first — but want to move correctly
- Teams that tried and failed — bought AI tools, ran some experiments, couldn’t make anything stick in production
Who this is NOT for
- Solopreneurs — our self-service products ($3–$97) are built for you. Start with the free AI Readiness Assessment.
- Businesses looking for a chatbot — we build agent workforces that handle business operations, not customer-facing chat widgets.
- Teams without leadership buy-in — agent deployment changes how work gets done. If leadership isn’t committed, the deployment fails regardless of the engineering.
Book a Discovery Call
30 minutes. No pitch. We ask about your operation: team size, main workflows, what you’ve tried with AI, where the pain is. You ask whatever you want.
If a Work Audit makes sense, we’ll explain exactly what it involves and what it costs. If it doesn’t — if your operation isn’t ready or if our products are a better fit — we’ll say that.
